SIMPLE CAMPFIRE STEW

Simple Campfire Stew

Wondering what to make for dinner on those chilly camping nights? This warm and simple campfire stew will have you coming back for more! It not only warms your hands but your mouth and tummy too! So cuddle up with a cup or bowl of this easy recipe!

Always remember that preparing food ahead of time for camping or traveling is essential. For this recipe, you will need to brown your ground beef or turkey beforehand. In this simple but flavorful recipe, you can add just about anything you have extra in the fridge, pantry or some of the items mentioned below! Any left over veggies rice or pasta will do.

Pour water, condensed alphabet soup, orzo pasta, tomato sauce and seasonings into a Dutch oven or pot and bring it to a boil. Mix in your precooked browned meat, add it to the soup and pasta mixture in the pot. Add your veggies last, as they do not need as much time to cook. Simmer for 15 minutes and cool.

Once it has cooled, ladle the soup in your bowl or cup and enjoy the warm, simple but filling meal!

Canned Alphabet Soup

Tomato Sauce

Frozen Mixed Veggies (optional)

Orza Pasta or Rice

Water (Bottled if camping)
