PANCAKES ON THE GO

Pancakes on the Go

Whether you are camping or staying at a hotel, breakfast is a must! Try this fast and easy pancake on the go recipe and be full until lunch while on your journey!

The best way to prepare for this recipe, if you are able, is to pre-make the batter in a zip lock bag prior to your trip. You can add blueberries, chocolate chips, banana slices or your favorite pancake ingredients. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, then transfer to a large Zip Lock bag. After you have all the batter in the bag, lay flat in the freezer to ensure easier travel and less space in your cooler.

Take your pancake on the go mixture with you, by the time you get to your destination and morning hits, you have fresh pancake batter. If you are camping you can use a cast iron pan over a fire to make the pancakes. If you are staying at a hotel, you can use a small hot plate or griddle.

When you are ready, cut a big enough hole in the corner of the bag, to allow ingredients through. Squeeze batter on to your preheated cast iron pan or hot plate. Flip often, until golden brown and serve!

Warm, tasty pancakes on the go! Don’t forget the butter, syrup and the napkins!
